Joseph Federico is the Vice President and Director of Operations at NJMET, based in Clifton, NJ. There, Joseph Federico created the world’s first electronic counterfeit component detection program, Mission: Imposter®. The program consists of intense and precise chemical, physical and metallurgical tests designed to uncover cloned or counterfeit electronic products.
A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and the Metropolitan Technical Institute, Joseph Federico holds both an Associate degree and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology. Since the completion of his studies, Joseph Federico has worked with NJMET.
Joseph Federico is a pioneer in the development of electronics counterfeiting detection, Joe is currently writing a book on the subject, with the working title MISSION: IMPOSTER The Remedy to Detect Counterfeit Electronic Components.
Joseph Federico holds numerous industry certifications and is in demand as a lecturer and educator on the subject of indentifying counterfeit electronic components.
Joseph Federico lives in Wayne, New Jersey. Joseph Federico dedicates himself to community service with the same zeal he brings to his profession. Joseph Federico regularly donates his time and money to several charities, including the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, and the March of Dimes Foundation.
Joseph Federico held the position of CCD Instructor for 18 years and functioned as a Eucharistic Minister and Church Elector.
